But there was a brave heart who fought the war of Kargil
Bullets and grenades showered over him in Tiger Hill
Yet he fought the enemies capturing the hill top & peak of Tololing.

Who joined the armed forces at Sixteen!
He won Param Veer Chakra at Nineteen,
That’s the youngest a Gallantry winner has ever been!
A great warrior and wonderful human,
He trains young soldiers on battlefront aspect.
On Republic Day as his jeep goes past Rajpath,
My heart swells with patriotism and respect!
He motivates me to achieve great things and have no fear
Irrespective of age I will do my part for my country dear.
The Air of freedom I breath is due to men like him..
I salute them and proudly say ‘Jai Hind’!
