Fairy Tale 1

Alice was a little girl aged seven years. She was mostly happy. She had many friends. But, her bestie was a girl named Rebecca. Alice always wanted to fly. She wanted to soar high in the air like a peacock^. So, she expressed her feelings to Rebecca. “Oh, how I wish I could fly like a peacock…” “But peacocks can’t fly high!” Said Rebecca. “They can!” Said Alice. Rebecca sighed. She really wanted Alice’s wish to come true. One day, as Alice was walking by gloomily, she passed by a magical man. The magical man sensed that Alice was feeling very sad. He asked, “What’s the matter, little girl?” Alice told the man about her ‘wish’. The magical man said, “Oh, what a strange wish! But don’t worry. If you forget about it and let it go**, it will soon come true.” Alice was so excited that she literally couldn’t forget about it! Everyday, she’d think, “Today’s the day!” Everyday, she would remind Rebecca, “The magical man said it!!” Then, gradually, she slowly forgot about it. A few days later, the magical man appeared on Rebecca’s porch. He said, “It’s about time we do it!” Rebecca didn’t understand anything. She asked what he meant. He said, “Come with me, behind the bushes!” Rebecca was sceptical, but reluctantly followed the man. “Look, that’s Alice’s place. It’s time we give her the power to fly!” Said the man. Rebecca felt pranked. The man added, “With the click of my finger, I can make anything happen. So, since she wanted to fly like a peacock, I will temporarily grant her peacock feathers. Oh, there she comes!” “Oh, oh!” Exclaimed Rebecca excitedly. ‘Click’ clicked the magical man’s fingers and boom, Alice grew feathers like a peacock. Both Alice and Rebecca were. Very surprised.

Oh, oh!” Exclaimed Rebecca excitedly. ‘Click’ clicked the magical man’s fingers and boom, Alice grew feathers like a peacock. Both Alice and Rebecca were. Very surprised. “Oh, so he is real.” Thought Rebecca. “Wow! I’m a peacock!” Exclaimed Alice. Since she thought that peacocks can fly high, she went up to the terrace. (Heartbeat increases) She was approaching the edge. (🫀🫀🫀) Rebecca was sweating. Alice had one leg out in the air. Only half of her other foot was even touching solid ground! That became a quarter. Rebecca’s reflexes told her to run and catch the (almost) falling Alice. She was about to jump across the bush when she realized that Alice was already in the air. It was too late. She closed her eyes tightly. Then, suddenly, out of the blue, she heard a ‘click’. Rebecca opened her eyes. She pinched herself to make sure she wasn’t dreaming. What a sight to behold! Two white wings 🪽 emerged from Alice’s sides. Woah. Alice was extremely excited until… “Oh no! I don’t know how to fly!” She thought. Flip, flap, flop, and away she went. Alice flew higher, and higher until she could see the Earth below her! “How cool!” She thought.
