Vaibhav is an inquisitive and curious 10 year old child who studies in sixth grade in Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan School at Chennai. He is an academic genius winning medals in Olympiads and topping other scholastic exams. He holds an International top rank in sustainability, Mathematics and computer olympiads. He was also the National level SpellBee Champion for 2020 and 2022. He also earned the young coder certificate at the age of 5 from Whitehatjr. He is also an avid blogger. Writing creatively comes naturally to Vaibhav and he has been blogging from the age of 6 when his mom Mathangi, an IT professional helped him to create a personal blog for him in Wix site. He took to writing like a fish to water. His other hobbies are book reading, playing computer games, watching TV shows, playing badminton, ping pong, making paper crafts, playing piano, singing, quizzing, dramatics and vlogging. The fondest daily routine for Vaibhav is to cuddle up with his mom and listen to a variety of stories.. Vaibhav also conducts weekly family competitions for his family ensuring good entertainment over weekends with some creative prizes and certificates.
A fun fact about Vaibhav is that he loves knowing and quoting facts about various diverse topics. He loves watching informative videos on Space, Science and History. He also loves to travel. He has traveled extensively within India with his parents. His most favorite of all places is the calm serene atmosphere he felt as he sat by the flowing Lidder river in Pahalgam & sliding by the snow sledge in Gulmarg. Since he is a Chennai boy he frequents the beaches of Bay of Bengal with his parents and loves watching sunset by the sea.
He is also a big foodie just like his father Krishna who is also an IT professional. He loves to frequent nice ambience restaurants with his dad and try out good western vegetarian cuisines. His father is also a great cook and his most favorite dishes are rice with peas curry as cooked by his dad & pasta as cooked by his mom. He also loves the daal his grandfather used to make and his grandmother's Paruppu Podi rice.
Vaibhav is also a spiritual child and treats everyone with empathy and reverence. He has been a student of Sathya Sai Balvikas class from the age of 5 and has won numerous awards in shloka chanting, Bhagavad Gita and Bhajan singing. He likes to do Narayana seva and help people in need. He was brought up by his maternal grandparents who helped inculcate good values and habits in him from birth. His grandmother being a retired teacher kept his curiosity alive during his growing up days as a toddler.
Vaibhav is bright and bubbly and loves to explore and experiment. Curiosity is his middle name and he believes that the vast universe around him offers enough fodder for imagination, thus enabling stories and poetry to flow from the depth of his soul. When he grows up Vaibhav dreams to be either a Space scientist or a geologist. He also wants to be a famous author. A part of his inspiration is from the variety of books that he reads. His favorite books are - Tom Gates series, Adventures of Tom Sawyer, The Secret Seven Series and ACK comics. He is ever thankful to his parents for inculcating the love for reading and writing in him.
